Pre-war CZAF fighter pilot with Air Regiment 6. Served with FAF from 1939-1940. On arriving in Britain he was posted to 310 Sqn in August 1940. Posted to 313 Sqn in Sept 1942 as “B” flight leader. His second tour began in June 1943 with 310 Sqn becoming flight leader on 24/9/43 succeeding V Chocholin. He was replaced by V Raba on 6/12/1943 for a rest period. Returned to 310 Sqn on Jan 1944. Emigrated to Britain in 1948.
