While serving with 125 Sqn at RAF Exeter Fl Lt Snow’s navigator was usually Warrant Officer H J Rich.During his term at Exeter he was admitted to the Military Hospital at Netley near Southampton His stay was short from the 25th April 1943 to the 30th April.At that time, the hospital was the longest building in the world.
On the 17th March 1944 Eric was involved in collision while flying a Mosquitoe with his navigator Fl Off D M Griffiths.The other Mosquitoe involved in the fatal crash was piloted by Pl Off F J Reid and navigator Pl Off H J Rich.Aircraft made exhaustive searches without success and very reluctantly returned to base.
