We received an email from Luke Stilin in the summer of 2019 whose great uncle was Albert Stilin. Luke lives in Sault Ste Marie Ontaria Canada where Albert was born. Luke loves English magazines and had asked a friend who was visiting England before Christmas 2019 to bring some back for him to read. His friend picked the October issue of Devon Life. What a shock he had when he saw the information on Albert. He and the family knew nothing of Albert’s demise as information during the war was closely guarded. He and his family intended to visit the UK in 2020 and we wonder if this indeed happened.
